A Perfect Weekend in San Francisco

My family lives in Palo Alto, but when my parents had to go overseas on some business trip, my sister and I sent to San Francisco, where my grandparents live, for the weekend. We didn't mind. In fact, we liked visiting Grandma and Gramps. We also liked San Francisco. There is a lot more to see there, we think.
On our first day there, Gramps took us on a cable car ride throughout the city. We were only kids the last we went on a cable car ride. Gramps, a native San Franciscan knew everything there is to know about the city. It was a lot more exciting to hear the stories from him because he experienced them firsthand. He was a boy when the Golden Gate was built in 1937, and he told us all about the World's Fair, the Golden Gate International Exposition in 1939 to 1940, and establishment of Treasure Island in the middle of the bay. It was so cool.
